How to get linksys to connect to internet?

I cannot connect to the internet through my linksys wireless network but I am able to through my windows xp figure. When i turn my linksys monitor on it says it can associate with the access point but cannot connect to the internet. How do I fix this?

It sounds as if you're still able to get onto the Web soon. Did you remember to disconnect your internet cable (the one that goes to the modem) from your computer and reconnect it to the Linksys router?
